2026 Battle at the Beach

Come to the beautiful beaches of Saugeen Shores to play in our Festival. When you’re not battling on the field, enjoy swimming at the beaches or exploring the many shops and restaurants the area has to offer.

This tournament is meant for District or Regional play teams.

  

Where: J.H Robertson Park, 639 Peirson Ave, Port Elgin, ON, N0H 2C4

When: August 29, 2026

Price: $350 per team registration in PowerUp Sports

Refund requests received with more  than one months notice will be charged $50, admin fee No refunds with 2 weeks' notice or less.

If enough teams to form a division are not registered by August 1st, 2026 teams will be refunded in full.

SSUFC Grassroot Festival Rules


a) Age divisions: 

  • U9, U10, U11, U12, 

b) Team eligibility: 

  • Any District or Regional team with an District Approved Roster from a club in good standing.

c) Number of games for each team: 

  • Two games, Ontario Soccer Festival Format

d) Duration of games: 

  • Two 25 min Halves

e) Number of Players dressed in each game for each team

  • U9 = 10
  • U10/11= 14
  • U12 = 18

f) Substitution rules

  • As per Ontario Soccer Grassroots Standards

g) Protest rules

  1. Not Applicable, No Scoring or Standing as per Ontario Soccer Grassroots Standards

h) Match Official Fees

  • U9 - $25
  • U10 - $30
  • U11/U12 - $40
